Dear Family and Friends,
Yes, I am still alive. I have been pretty busy lately with working at McDonalds. But I really needed to give y'all an update, so I took the time to sit down and write this. My job at McDonalds is going well. I like the people I work with a lot.
If any of you haven't seen the movie The Kite Runner, you should. It is the greatest picture of servanthood I have ever seen. While it's based in an Islamic conitation it definately has a certain similarity of Christ's sevanthood. Watch it.

Hey Tyler, I've enjoyed reading your posts. We will continue to pray for you. My advice on the whole "finding direction" thing, make the most of what you are given. We live in a culture that wants us to take the bull by the horns and make things happen. But that isn't always what God wants.
i saw the kite runner. I though it was a great movie. It was based in an Islamic enviroment and it does have a slight islamic pull, but the fathers comment on islam and the mullahs was accurate. I agree that it shows servanthood, but skews the culture to be more righteous in a westerners mind than in reality. Multiple wives, abuse and rape of women for being indecent, cast system, and steeling are all part of the culture, at least that is what i have seen and heard when i was in kabul.
